- Gene Chiu Foundation started in 2006.
- Projects implemented are: · Implemented Computer Classroom in Guizhou University to teach computer literacy for University students.
- Provided personal computers to introduce computer usage for Guizhou high schools students.
- Implemented Technology Library to aid graduate level research for Guishou Universitygraduate students.
- Implemented software lab for Guizhou students to develop web software and content.
- Give financial scholarships to high achieving high school graduates who have been accepted to Universities.
- Developed bi-lingual reading website to enhance culture and language learning.
